It was so much fun having my mom and dad come and visit!!! We had a pretty exciting week. The brought Great Grandma and Grandpa Bird with them too. They came April 1st-April 6th. Here is a little run down of what we did. They came Tuesday night and Isabelle was so excited the whole day just waiting for them to come. Of course Grandma had a suite case full of presents.
Wednesday we drove around where we lived and showed Grandpa and Grandma some of the neat parks by our house. Then we went and watch Isabelle at her swimming lessons. After that we met up with Spencer for a tour of the dental school and of course lunch at McDonald's(Isabelle's favorite restaurant). After that Grandma and Grandpa took us to Walmart where they bought Isabelle a dress up dress and a truck for Max (my mom could not believe that we didn't have any trucks for Max). Then we drove to Slate Run Farm. Slate Run is a farm that is ran just like a farm would have been in the 1800s. Its pretty neat. After that we went out dinner at this yummy, yummy rib place.
On Thursday we drove up to Cleveland where we saw the Amish country. It was really weird seeing people driving on the road with buggy's and horses. After that we went to Kirtland and saw the town of Kirtland and the temple.
On Friday we went and saw the John Johnson farm and then we toured the temple. After that we drove back home.
Saturday we went to the Franklin Park Conservatory and of course a trip to the mall to the Build A Bear store. Isabelle has been wanting to go there since we moved to Columbus. Saturday night mom and dad watched the kids while Spencer and I had a night out.
We had so much fun with them and we were so sad to see them leave. Mom and Dad thanks a bunch for the fun trip and for spoiling Max and Isabelle rotten.
